Heliotrope was forged from four college students’ shared passion for performing, writing, and producing indie rock. Although each member came from unique musical, social, and geographic backgrounds, basement jams and local shows brought them all together. The Fort Collins based quartet draws on stories from their teenage years, the complex transition into adulthood, and battles against the human condition to create songs that will make you dance, weep, and scream out loud. A vibrant guitar tone and Winehouse-esque vocals shape a melody that might whisper, bringing the listener in, only to charge forward the next second and electrify the room. Backed up by a moody, post-rock rhythm section, Heliotrope turns any stage (or rooftop) they take into an unforgettable listening experience.
